Hachinosu Gorge is a scenic spot located in Gonohara, Kitago-cho, Minami-Naka-gun, Miyazaki Pref. The huge rock named “Hachinosu Rock (Beehive Rock)” rises on the side of the gorge. The clear stream of the Hiroto River gently winds its way through the natural forest. Families can enjoy outdoor activities including camping in Hachinosu Park located at the C-shaped curve of the Hiroto River. The water is so clear that you can enjoy seeing fish swimming in the river. Walking along the promenade, you will be satisfied with abundant greenwood. There is an observatory one hour walk from the park, where you can command a fine view as it changes from season to season. It’s a good place to get acquainted with nature.
