Mt. Kurakake, 897 m above sea level, is a part of the Ou Mountain Range in Iwate Pref. From the top of the mountain, you will be overwhelmed by the magnificent view of Mt. Iwate in a short distance. You can go up to and down from the top in half a day even in the snowy season if the weather is fine. One of the merits of this mountain is a hot spring at the foot. Relax yourself in a hot bathtub, and get over your fatigue.
